We arrived at this hotel and right away felt right at home. Nicola and Ida at the front desk are amazing!!! They made sure we had the perfect room for our stay. The breakfast is also delicious with great service. We have two more nights here and definitely don’t want it to end. Our room view is spectacular and the beach is literally 10 steps away. For 20 euros only, you can get two beds and one umbrella at the beach. We are enjoying our stay and can’t wait to return in future years! Thank you.
Nice hotel with a good location right on the beach. Price-wise and ok for the Amalfi Coast. The rooms were newly renovated and clean. However, since the hotel is located on the main road and the insulation isn’t particularly good, it can be a bit noisy, and you can hear the traffic quite strongly.
The breakfast was good and satisfied. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Parking spaces are available at the hotel, but you have to leave your key at the reception so that the staff can range cars if needed.
Parking and access to the beach are available for an additional cost.
What bothered us was the hairdryer in the bathroom. It had no power, and it took half an hour to dry our hair.
The beach was very crowded, and it was a shame that the sea had only a small fenced-off area for swimming.
Water was a little bit dirty in the evening after all that people there.
Overall, we were very satisfied, and considering the value for money, we would book there again.
Hotel is in a fantastic location on the edge of Maiori, easy walk to town. As other reviewers have said, the property is old. Personally I thought this only added to the charm.
We opted for an economy room, with a view of the parking area and the main road out of town. 1st night we decided to enjoy the perfect weather and went to bed with the windows open…. Which proved to be a mistake at around 4am, when a stream of nonstop scooters and busses began screaming up the road. Can’t blame a hotel for that.
Room was clean and (mostly) modernized, with the exception of the air conditioner. Regardless of setting, it barely kept up and the room was on the warm side. As others have mentioned, the walls are thin. This wouldn’t have been a problem and we’d have given 5 stars, except for the morning maid staff who liked to stop and talk, for hours, in the room across from ours with the door open. In their defense, the hotel was always nice and clean, but the loud conversation and constant slamming of doors beginning around 8:30am was really annoying, especially after asking them to keep the noise down on several occasions.
The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating, helping us with everything from bus and ferry schedules to renting a scooter.
Rooms very large, spacious - we loved the balcony and the view! Some of the staff members were pleasant (some not so much) but the cleanliness was up to a very good standard. Absolutely disappointed with the quality of breakfasts :( Would recommend to stay but have food elsewhere :)
Had to change rooms! A/c wasn’t working properly. Maintenance had to turn it to the highest setting for the room to get cool. Balcony door didn’t lock. Toilet didn’t flush. Room had a smell. The new room they gave us was better better but still old. This hotel needs to close for renovations. Old & run down.
The location is fantastic. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac so you have no cars going in front of the hotel and you can walk straight out and look at the ocean. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had.
Clean room and spacious bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Easy to get in and out of. Spot on the private beach costs 20€ but includes 2 umbrellas and table. Or you can use the free public area. Rented a scooter nearby and drove to Positano too! Nearby shopping is a few min walk away. Loved our trip!
The hotel is in a perfect location along the Amalfi Coast, not too busy and easy to get to all the main spots by bus and/or ferry. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a beautiful beach vibe and don't want to go broke in the process! Definitely try to upgrade to the sea view rooms with the balcony as that was one of the main highlights of my trip. The staff was very kind and helped out with any questions I had. The breakfast is also very delicious.
